MAREK SKROBECKI - dim.

Lacrimosa dies illa
Qua resurget ex favilla
Judicandus homo reus.
Huic ergo parce, Deus:
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem. Amen.

MAREK SKROBECKI - dim. - MPEG-4 clip

Sorry for the three day hiatus. To apologize, I'm uploading something special. You'll love it!

Hard to describe the movie in a meaningful way. I think it's about the endless repetition of our daily routine which, eventually, led to the death of each and every feeling we used to express thru our actions. But it's just my interpretation.

Produced at Se-Ma-For, the film has been written and directed by Marek Skrobecki with a peculiar technique which uses life size claymation!

The soundtrack has been composed by Michał Lorenc, except obviously for the final bit, which is the Lacrimosa from W.A. Mozart's Requiem.

Mozart.

Maybe it is just me and my guilt but I thought it was about not seeing your parents enough!

Well, it could easily be about both things. Or neither of them! :)

They feed the body, and then they feed the soul. I you see closely, every time the bird comes, it's when they are in bed, and when they touch each other. The bed is under the map of the world. It's where everything happens. The bird comes thought a window, next to a frame without a painting. The window represents feelings, the bird, love. The man feeds this love. The wife takes care of him. Every time the bird of love comes, they are together. If love doesn’t come, they die.
That’s just what I think. I’ve seen this film more than 100 times these past few days.
Congratulations Marek Skrobecki
