Here's the second part of Halo: Combat (here's the first one ) which is actually the third part of a trilogy. Again, Neil Blomkamp directed with Weta doing the visual effects. The movie premiered as a viral for some Discovery Channel website. Go figure... Will post a better clip as soon as available. Send me the link if you find one! Done!.

Ka-boom! Neil Blomkamp and Weta will take us on a full immersion in the world of Halo. This doesn't seem to be a trailer for the game, and it shouldn't be a scene from the movie. Based on what I read online, my guess is that this series of short movies should serve as a showcase for the potential of this production, thus eventually defining the budget for the actual film. Anyway, stop with all this fussing around, and enjoy this short clip and stay tuned for more.

Ka-boom! Neil Blomkamp e Weta ci portano in una full immersion nel mondo di Halo. Questo non sembra essere un trailer del gioco, e nemmeno una scena dal futuro film. Da quanto ho letto, posso azzardare che si tratti di una serie di corti pensati come vetrina per il potenziale della produzione, in modo da poter definire il budget per il ilm vero e proprio. UPDATE: Tempbot won the Best Overall Film award at the AdCritic's No Spot Festival. Tempbot is an experimental robot, designed to perform ordinary office jobs (but with an efficiency inaccessible for men) and to act as well as a normal human beings, including the way he relates with the opposite sex. Obviously, things will go very bad... This short, produced by Spy Films and W+K Entertainment, is another robotic movie by Neill Blomkamp, who brought us the awesome Alive in Joburg, as long as the Citroen Transformer ad (Alive with Technology) and some other cool stuff. Guest star of the movie is Lynda Carter, yes, that Lynda Carter!

UPDATE: Tempbot ha vinto il premio come Miglior Film al No Spot Festival di AdCritic. Tempbot e' un robot sperimentale, progettato per le normali mansioni d'ufficio (ma con un efficienza impensabile per gli uomini) e per comportarsi come un normale essere umano, relazioni con l'altro sesso incluse. Ovviamente lo cose non andranno lisce... Il corto, prodotto da Spy Films e W+K Entertainment, e' un'altro film robotico di Neill Blomkamp, l'autore del fantastico Alive in Joburg, cosi' come dello spot Citroen Transformer (Alive with Technology) e di altra roba di prima scelta. Partecipa al film anche Lynda Carter, sì, quella Lynda Carter!

NEILL BLOMKAMP - Alive in Jorburg

This is perhaps the best science fiction movie of the last years. Edited with a documentary style, Alive in Joburg narrates the story of the racial discrimination on the aliens in South Africa, an obvious reference to the apartheid. Neill Blomkamp is a South African director, currently signed at Spy Films and Spy Entertainment in Canada. He won several awards for his Alive with Technology (A.K.A. the Transformer Citroen ad) and he'll probably do the big jump to Hollywood after this movie. The movie has been released on the Internet Archive with a Creative Commons License (By-NC-ND)

Probabilmente il miglior film di fantascienza degli ultimi anni!!! Montato con stile documentaristico, Alive in Joburg narra la storia delle discriminazioni razziali nei confronti degli alieni in Sud Africa, chiaro riferimento all'apartheid. Neill Blomkamp e' un regista sudafricano, attualmente di stanza in Canada presso Spy Films e Spy Entertainment. Ha vinto diversi premi per Alive with Technology (lo spot "Transformer" di Citroen) e probabilmente fara' il grande salto ad Hollywood dopo questo film. Il film e' stato pubblicato su Internet Archive con una licenza Creative Commons (By-NC-ND)
